Project Udayan Care

Since its establishment in 1996, Udayan Care has spread its work for abandoned and neglected children by establishing more group homes, giving children access to adequate education and quality health care.

In the summer of 2019, I had the unique opportunity to teach girls ages 7-18 at Udayan Ghar in Noida, India, one of Udayan Care’s 17 homes for orphaned and abandoned children. I taught the girls English and math, helped them with homework, and exchanged personal stories.

Girls Global Health will help raise money to provide healthcare for the girls living in the Udayan Ghars (“homes”).
